Aiguablava Beach

On June 3rd we went to Aiguablava Beach. It is such a beautiful place. A small cove surrounded by rocks and tons of sea urchins.

We took a paddle-boat with a slide on top of it out to SEA. Haha! Get it? We found billions of sea urchins, and fish. We even made friends with a little British family, which was so cool!

It was such a fun day on the water. Can't wait to go back!

Costa Brava

May 31st, We went to the beach in Costa Brava on the Mediterranean Sea. It is seriously sooooo beautiful! The water is so blue!

The only thing was some women in Spain don't think it's necessary to wear bathing suit tops. Yea. A little awkward walking through there. Don't go back and look at the pictures, I edited the ladies out!
We had gelato and coffee on the beach. I was like a dream.

Mom and I went exploring on the rocks for creatures. The water was so cold! We didn't see any creatures either. But it was still very very pretty.

Later that night we attended a big Carnival parade in Palafrugell. It was so fun! Only a few of the floats were, how do I say this, not drunk. There were old people, kids, everybody out there all dressed up and painted, dancing like crazy! I wanted to join in!

Barcelona

On May 30th, Eduard and his family wanted to take us to see Barcelona. We made the two hour drive and started our adventure. We went to the Sagrada Familia, a catholic church that has been under construction for over one hundred and fifty years. The architect's name was Antoni Gaudi and before he died he did some amazing work.

Gaudi 's architecture was based from nature and Biblical symbolism. He though that if God's handiwork is good enough for Him, then why not base it off that.

Afterwards we decided to walk around and see the beautifulbuildings and streets. I loved the art they had there!

It was a wonderful day full of fun and memories. I will never forget it.

Palamos

My trip to Europe was seriously just so amazing, and I know it's taken me forever to share with you all but I am finally doing it. I am finally just sitting down and typing away. No distractions. So after we landed in Barcelona on May 29, I was completely dead. I had never had jet lag before, and my first experience was not pleasing. We drove for two and half hours to Palafrugell where the Millian-Morales family live. It is so beautiful there. Just a small Spanish town about fifteen minutes from the sea.
After Mrs. Carmen's amazing lunch and a very much needed nap, we headed out to Palamos. The town is right on the sea, and has a beautiful port full of sail boats.
There was a fish market where the fishermen take the fish strait out of their boats and into the ice to sale. And trust me they were fresh. You could smell it from a mile away. But it was super fun to see all the different creatures of the sea.
We walked around for awhile exploring Palamos and their beautiful streets and shops.

We decided to eat at a restaurant overlooking the port called Bar Los Caracoles. It was adorable! Everything was white with glass for walls so light could shine through. We had what they call "tapes" which is just plates of food that everybody at the table shares. There was Prawns, Calamari, Potato Bravas, Croquettes, and Fried Anchovies. I don't know if the food on the plane was just that bad, or if the food there was seriously amazing. It tasted so good. I highly recommend this restaurant if you visit Palamos.

After dinner Mr. Albert wanted to take us to Pals, where he lived as a boy. It used to a be a castle, yes, A CASTLE! The town was surrounded by a moat. There were cobblestone streets and flowers everywhere. It was beautiful!

Sunny Days

Dress:Manga Rosa(similar)//Shoes:Guess(similar) //Glasses:Mio(similar)//Bag:Bimba Y Lola//Hat:Calvin Klein

Sorry evrything is similar to what I¨m wearing. I got most of my pieces from shops in Spain and they don´t have a website. The Bimba Y Lola site is down so I couldn´t link that for you guys, but maybe you can find it later. This dress is not the most figure enhancing thing, but it is so comfortable, and it has pockets so thats a plus. You can also ditch the wedges, and throw on a pair of sandals for a walk on the beach. Seriously in love with this outfit!
