Sunny Days

Dress:Manga Rosa(similar)//Shoes:Guess(similar) //Glasses:Mio(similar)//Bag:Bimba Y Lola//Hat:Calvin Klein

Sorry evrything is similar to what I¨m wearing. I got most of my pieces from shops in Spain and they don´t have a website. The Bimba Y Lola site is down so I couldn´t link that for you guys, but maybe you can find it later. This dress is not the most figure enhancing thing, but it is so comfortable, and it has pockets so thats a plus. You can also ditch the wedges, and throw on a pair of sandals for a walk on the beach. Seriously in love with this outfit!

Friday Favorites

It´s Friday and what better day of the week to talk about things you love! So here are my Friday Favorites:

       1. Edible Sugar Doilies
These things are seriously adorable! I mean how cute!? I would drink tea all day if I had some of these. And they´re only like $11.

       2. 1950s Swimsuits
But seriously, who doesn´t love vintage swimsuits? They are just adorable!

       3. Lilly Collins
O.M.Gosh. This girl is beautiful! I am obsessed with her right now. And if anybody´s eyebrows are on ¨fleek¨, it´s defanitly her´s.

       4. P-E-O-N-I-E-S
I know this past couple weeks have been Peony season, and all I´ve seen are pictures of my favorite flower in the entire world. It´s killing me not to get some while I´m in Europe. So I will leave you with these magical flowers that will hopefully brighten up your Friday!

The Flight Over

So I know I haven´t posted in a while, but it´s because I´m having the time of my life right now in Europe! It´s been crazy over here so this is actually my first time to be able to get on here. But as soon as I get home I am going to tell you all about my trip!

On May 28th, my mom, two brothers and I flew to Spain to visit my Spanish brother and his family. We actually figured all this out about a week before we came. The Thursday before, mom asked me if I wanted to go to Spain, and of course I said yes. After buying tickets, getting our passports in order, and packing all night, we finally made it. The flight over from Newark, NJ to Barcelona was terrible. I couldn´t sleep at all! I just ended up watching Clueless and maybe getting an hour of sleep. Plus, the food was TERRIBLE!! There was a choice of chicken or pasta, and after seeing whatever kind of meat they used as an excuse for chicken, I chose the pasta which wasn´t any better. We landed in Barcelona where Eduard and his dad Albert picked us up. We drove for about and hour and a half to Palafrugell, where they live. I slept the entire way. When we got there Eduard´s family couldn´t have made us feel more welcomed. Mrs. Carmen (Eduard´s mom) fed us amazing food, I mean after that plane ride I was in heaven. Laura, Edu´s sister, was so so nice. Eduard and Laura had to translate for us because their parents do not speak English, but even with the language barrier, we had a great time. After lunch I slept for the rest of the day, or until dinner which here in Spain they eat at around nine o´clock. After dinner we told everyone goodnight and dozed off to sleep.

My Fashion Icons

Everyone has someone that inspires them to do something. Whether it be work, sports, or hobbies, someone has an icon. They have someone to help inspire them through all different things. I have fashion icons. They help to inspire my wardrobe. I don't intend to be exactly like them,(I am still Jade, and God made me who I am.) but I look up to these women for fashion guidance. My fashion icons are:

Jackie Kennedy Onasis
Jackie O. is basically the first prepster. She wasn't afraid to take risks, even when it came to style. Being the president's wife, she was expected to dress like the presidents wife should, but she made it still very mature, but also very stylish.

Audrey Hepburn

Audrey is known for her timeless look and attitude. She was classy and feminine, yet strong and courageous. I adore her, her movies, and her unbreakable style!

Blake Lively

This woman right here is seriously astonishing! She can pull anything off, and make is look so trendy and stylish. She is like the Taj Mahal of celebrity fashion. I'm not kidding! She is so on point it hurts!

I mean look at her! She has a watermelon on her stomach, and looks flawless!

Kate Middleton

Let me tell you about my little obsession with Kate Middleton. This lady, and I mean LADY, is the most classy, most elegant, most beautiful lady in the history of ever. She has just had two kids, and looks amazing. She is the princess of England. AND she's just…just awesome! You think I am blowing this out of proportion? Take a look for yourself.
I am not blowing this out of proportion. If you looked up classy in the dictionary Kate Middleton's name would be right underneath it.

So those are my fashion icons...oh wait! This last one isn't really an icon, but he does help me guide my wardrobe. His name is Jesus Christ. This guy is the awesomest inspiration ever! (Yes, even awesomer than Kate.) He tells me to dress modestly, and to cover things that need covered. He is the most important fashion icon of them all. He calls the shots!

Now back to the beginning of the ending. So those are my fashion icons. I hope you all enjoyed! Now to leave you with this little darling!

How To Shop For Amazing Deals!

If you know me, you know I love to shop. And if you know me even better, you know I love to shop for awesome deals. I almost always make a B-line straight for the clearance section when I enter a store. I love getting a good deal on an adorable shirt or a very chic dress, and don't even get me started on shoes!!

So I thought I would let y'all in on my secrets of How To Shop For Amazing Deals

1. Always know what you're looking for.
I don't always walk into a store knowing exactly what dress I'm going to get, in exactly this color, and this size. But I do go into a store looking for clothes that I know I will actually wear. I don't go into the formalwear section of a store when I know there's no chance I will ever wear it. I look for things I know are my style and likes.

2. Have a price range.
The price range differs from store to store. I go to TJ-Maxx a lot, and I know a good deal ranges from about $12-$30 for me. If it's above that(depending on the brand or beginning price) I usually don't get it. When I go to JCrew though, a good deal is $25-$50. See the difference?

3. The back is where it's at!
I know this sounds cheap, and it is, but trust me when I say that I get most my clothes from the back of stores. I'm not kidding. Stores put their new, high dollar stuff in the front, so when they don't have any room for the other stuff they put it in the back ON CLEARANCE. Those are some of the best deals ever, because they're still new, they're still in style, and they're for a good price. It isn't like going to a thrift shop and only finding one thing that is ok. I once got a striped sweater for 97 cents in the back of Old Navy.

4. Don't buy something unless you absolutely love it.
I find clothes all the time that I think 'yea, maybe I would wear this sometime or something', but then I remember don't buy something unless you absolutely love it. I've caught myself saying this so many times. Why waste your money on something you don't even like that much? Makes sense right? And don't try to talk yourself out of it. It never works. I would rather buy a dress and a pair of shoes that I love for $40 than five pairs of shirt that I sorta like. I don't want my closet filled up with stuff I regret buying. Don't ever regret your purchase.
